Help Victims of Iraq

There are few direct avenues for us to help the victims of the latest Iraq terror attack. However, there are many organizations that offer much needed humanitarian relief to the area. Please consider donating.

1. UNICEF – Overall, it is estimated that 11 million Iraqis, nearly half of them children, are in need of humanitarian assistance…

2. ICRC – The president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has said that suffering in Syria and Iraq has reached ‘unprecedented levels’ and that many people, in both countries, are living in ‘abject fear and terrifying uncertainty’, with the situation worsening almost by the day…

3. Women for Women International – Sectarian violence and competing extremist organizations vying for control pose increased threats and magnify the daily struggles confronting Iraqi women. Despite bombings, torture, rape, and the threat of displacement, women strive to keep their families together…

4. Spirit of America – Working closely with our U.S. Army civil affairs counterparts in Erbil, SoA is working to provide 255 [first aid kits], enough to equip an entire all-female Peshmerga battalion. Every IFAK will include a trauma shear, a chest seal, gauze dressing, shrink-wrap, and a tactical field pouch to secure the kit on each soldiers webbing…
